HOW CAN I BECOME A 2026 FESTIVAL ARTIST ?

​Don't be scammed! First and foremost, once you are accepted by Trish to be part of TPPL FEST, all registration and payment happens only on The Purple Painted Lady website. No venmo...no cash apps..... only through our website!
So, please don't be scammed by the literal thousands of lousy people out there who randomly text you or message through Social Media. Only Tricia Migliore Kuntz, the OG Purple Painted Lady will invite you! And unless the number calling or texting you is TPPL's phone number posted on Google (585.750.6056) , or is a message direct from our business social media or our email that contains "The Purple Painted Lady" in it, ................than it is a SCAM! Again, we will NEVER ask you to send money via venmo, or some other cash app. Please do not be taken by these terrible people out there trying to steal from you! It does happen!!

As for the festival, we are very selective and our pre-existing artist community always has the first right of refusal to return. But if you think you create something unique, fresh, and have a great presentation in your booth and are serious about your creative businness, and can follow instructions... then, contact us starting in January, 2026 by texting 585.750.6056. Your text should contain all of the requests below - otherwise we will sadly delete it.

DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO APPLY: (make Trish's life easier and please follow the instructions below)
Start your text with "APPLYING FOR THE 2026 TPPL FESTIVAL"
Then make sure you include items 1 - 6 below.​
1. Your whole name
2. Your business name
3. ONLY TWO photos of what you make
4. ONE photo of your booth from a 2025 event (this is very important)
5. Share your one sentence elevator speech on what it is you make or do.
6. Provide the actual link to your social media. If there is no link- we will not go searching for your social media. ~ sorry....but we are busy!
And here is a secret. We look for artist and vendors who have a niche! If you make a potpourri of things......like jewelry, tumblers, bake cookies and make candles, ...........just pick one and focus on it. Genres like jewelry, candle making, soap making, cookie making and anything at all that is made with a Silhouette or Cricket are typically full because we have many return artists. But- if you truly believe what you make is unique.... apply!
No Multi Level Marketing Companies or vendors who sell wholesale items from Faire or other website. We will not accept you out of respect to the handmade artists in our festival.
We want creators and artist who are active on social media under their business name. If you have a huge following on social media....let us know! If you only post once or twice a year- we will kindly pass on your request to be considered.
Nothing more, nothin' less should be included in the text you send.
Managing the festival and communicating to a vendor that they are not accepted is not meant to be personal or negative. You may not be accepted because we have others who create something similar and we try to manage not over satuating any one genre. Maybe the aesthetic of our art festival is not quite in line to what you do. Nothing wrong with that because there are other events who will be.
