September 19 and 20, 2020
Well, The Purple Painted Lady 2019 Festival is the history books. It was an amazing weekend for weather and fun! Could not be more grateful to all of you who came to support the local artisans and vendors. Annie Sloan from Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan attended and did demos and book signings. She really enjoyed spending time talking with all of you who stayed after her events to see her.
But with no matter to the degree of success the 2019 event was, it is never too early to plan your world around the nicest, cleanest, most creative and kindest festival in Western NY that gives back to the community! And boy, you do not want to miss 2020 because we have some exciting new offerings!
2020 CHARITY OF CHOICE:
We are excited to announce that our charity of choice will be Honor Flight! Come and support our veterans and show them the love they did not receive when they returned from WW1, Vietnam or Korea. This is near and dear to my heart since my dad, Ralph Migliore served in the Korean War on the USS Perry.
This event supports many other local charities and organizations such as the PalMac Rotary, Camp Quin, Pal-Mac Raider Robotics Team 1518, PalMac Select Choir, BSA Venture Crew 313, New2U Rescue, Happy Birthday ChaChaCha, Fifth Chapter MC Rochester located in Palmyra ( We are a Clean and Sober Motorcycle Club that promotes safe Motorcycling avd supports Recovery from Alcoholism and Drug Addiction. ) Please come and have an amazing time – while simultaneously- helping us support all of them!
Also, we would like to announce the featured artist for the Sept. 19 & 20, 2020 Purple Painted Lady Festival is Dee Densmore! Dee is from Brewerton, NY and created our artwork for the postcard and billboard with inspiration from The Purple Painted Lady’s 1978 VW bus. Dee has an amazing art career…and at one time lived in NYC and was part of Diane von Furstenberg’s sketch team.
